THE PLANTATION
Finca El Cerro is the heritage of five generations of Salvadoran coffee producers. Located on the eastern highlands of El Salvador, in the renowned coffee-growing region of Apaneca Ilamatepec, at an altitude of 1500 meters above sea level, the farm is surrounded by native forests that provide an ideal microclimate for producing highquality coffee. The owner, Fernando Leto Escobar, grew up on the family-run farm. They adopt environmentally friendly farming methods and are transforming some areas into fully organic plantations. The company’s main goal is to produce coffee of the highest possible quality.
